You can delete your HealthPilot account and associated data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data.
Your uploaded files and database records are removed immediately. Your sign-in account is disabled so it cannot be used (see the two-phase process below for what happens after that).
If you cannot access the app, email suryap666@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete your account. We will verify ownership and action the request.
Account deletion is a two-phase process so deletions can be verified and to prevent rapid account-recreation gaming the free tier.

| Sign-in account (AWS Cognito) | Disabled immediately so sign-in fails; permanently deleted by an automated cleanup 30 days after the deletion request, at which point the email address becomes reusable for a new account. |
| Subscription status + purchase tokens | Removed from our service immediately. Your underlying Google Play subscription is not cancelled by account deletion — manage or cancel it in the Play Store yourself. |

If you cannot use the app to delete and we action the request by email, the same two-phase process applies starting from the day we confirm the request.
We may retain minimal records strictly required by law (for example, basic transaction or security logs) for the period the law requires. These records do not contain your pathology results, vault documents, or Health Connect data.
Once the 30-day cleanup runs, your data cannot be recovered and you would need to create a new account to use HealthPilot again.
